This club won the prestigious IFA Shield tournament in 1939. Before that, in 1937 & after that, in 1943, this club became runners up in the same tournament. Not only in that tournament, PAC put remarkable performances in other football tournament like esteemed Kolkata Football League. The club participated in the 4th division of the League at first, but after putting superb performances, the club became champion in every division & got promoted to the first division. In premier division, this club became nightmare for all other clubs including the giants like Eastbengal, Mohunbagan etc. Although we did not win the championship but already earned the giant killer title as the club often beats the favourites. Only this clubs footballer has the credit to score three hattrick in a season of Kolkata Football League. PACs footballer Nilkanto Pariya did the magical task in 2014. In recent years, after watching the teams performance, we wish that, the lost past glories will be recovered by the team very soon & our trophy cabinet will be enriched & new history will be written. Eminent footballer Monoranjan Bhattacharya started his career from this club in 1976.Joydeb Chakraborty,Swapan Saha Roy and Krishanu Dey represented this club in 1979 and 1980.
